While the Vancouver Canucks have the best record overall on their home ice they have struggled on the road where tonight they will face the Flyers. The injury plagued Flyers have gotten some of their players back recently gaining both leading scorer Peter Forsberg and goaltender Robert Esche over the last couple games. Esche started the previous game stopping 23 of 24 shots.

The Canucks recently completed a trade with the Washington Capitals to sure up their goaltending corps as starter Dan Cloutier is expected to miss the rest of the season with a knee injury. Maxime Oullet, a former Flyers prospect, was the goaltender sent west and he may make his Canucks debut tonight in Philadelphia. If Oullet does not start expect Alex Auld the Western Conferences winningest rookie goaltender to be in net.
