CT Hockey on Temporary Hiatus Due To Weather
The problem with running an outdoor hockey league is that you are a slave to nature. While cold weather does not put a damper on playing, other factors (like snow, sleet and rain) do. Compounded with the fact that cold temperatures freeze said water on the rink making it quite hard to play roller hockey. So while this weather continues the Northeast Philadelphia roller hockey league located at the Palmer Playground will be placed on temporary hiatus (on a day-to-day basis). First round playoff games will be determined once the rink is in playing condition once again.
