Mr. Bush goes to Philadelphia

Well folks today is your chance to possibly see the president in Philadelphia. He’s giving a speech to the World Affairs Council at Broad and Walnut at the Bellvue Hotel. The Metro reports that there will be a ton of protesters out voicing their concerns over his “foreign and domestic policies.” I wish I could attend, but if anyone does let me know how it goes. I’d love to see pictures of the crowd and signs. Send me a link and I’ll post em or link to them in my next post. I’m a sucker for protest pictures since you NEVER see them in the news. Usually I read the small blurbs but never see more than 5 seconds devoted to protests. I am not sure that’s intentional, or if there really isn’t more than 5 seconds needed to devote to a protest. I was really taken aback that the first story on the Metro was about the protest ahead of time. Go Metro. So send me a link to your photos, put em on Flickr, and/or send me your 1st hand account via e-mail.
