Beef Top Ramen

Top%20Ramen.jpg

Yesterday afternoon, as I walked down Market Street, right by Drexel, a City Year intern offered me a couple of packets of Beef flavored Top Ramen. I shook my head no (it’s kind of a strange thing to take from a stranger on the street) and kept walking. I looked back and realized that there was a whole cluster of red-jacket clad, Top Ramen offering, City Year kids standing on the corner.

Anyone know why they were out there handing out ramen noodles to college students and anyone else who was passing by?

no clue, but i guess this explains the packets of oriental (at least i could eat that one) ramen i saw lying on benches on temple’s campus that same day.

My recommendation: go to the Thai grocery store next to Koch’s Deli (43rd and Locust) and get their WHOLE WHEAT “ramen”. A whole box of them (30 for $6.75).

“Delish!”, as a British blogger I read often would say!
