Moving to the Gayborhood

Ahh it’s good to be back posting! Next Monday I move back to the city to 12th and Spruce. A great area, nice shopping and food, little crime, and lots of gay. While I’m not gay myself, the “gayborhood” in Philadelphia has always been a very fun and festive place. Running between Broad St. to 10th St. and from Walnut St. to Lombard St., the area is a great place to live for cheap in Center City. I used to live in University City / West Philadelphia, which had it’s perks in unique ways and was fun. But I always ended up paying a lot of money to get places in the city via SEPTA or a cab. Now that I’m located in Center City, I’ve found I’m a lot closer to my friends, my favorite shops, and my favorite concert venues. I need not pay for SEPTA everytime I want to go somewhere! It’s fabulous! Like I said, good to be back Metroblogging Philly and I will update after this weekend with some fabulous finds for you all to check out.
