Flyers Look to Get Back on Track As Pens Come to Town

Antero Niitymaki will get the start tonight as the Flyers host their cross state rivals, the Pittsburgh Penguins tonight at the Wachovia Center. The Flyers look to extend their home winning streak to 10 games and get themselves back to their winning ways after a tough loss on Monday night.
Superstar forward/team owner Mario Lemieux and defenseman Sergei Gonchar will not play for the Penguins tonight. Lemieux has a stomach virus and will miss a game for the first time this year, while Gonchar will miss his second straight with a groin injury. The Flyers themselves will be without a few key members as well, team Captain Keith Primeau and defenseman Eric Desjardins out with concussions.
With Lemieux out the Penguins will look to rookie phenom Sidney Crosby to play even better than he already has. While Crosby has been outstanding, leading all rookies in scoring, the Flyers have a few young guns of their own most notably Jeff Carter and Mike Richards. The last time Pittsburgh was here Antero Niitymaki was in net and the Flyers won the game 6-5.
