The last time the Panthers played the Flyers (Oct. 27) Peter Forsberg scored in the last minute and defenseman Joni Pitkanen scored early into overtime and the Panthers have continued losing since then. The Panthers are currently on a 7 game losing streak while the Flyers are on a 5 game winning streak and currently have an 8 game winning streak at home in the Wachovia Center. The Panthers will be without top goal scorer Nathan Horton whom is out with a sprained left knee.

The Flyers on the other hand will have their big guns, Peter Forsberg and Simon Gagne, in action. Both players, along with defenseman Joni Pitkanen, had six game point streaks snapped on Thursday night and all three will be looking to return to the score sheet in tonight
