Septa Strike Day 3

As the Strike enters it’s thrid day I am starting to think this puppy has legs and more than likely will continue for some time. Talks broke down last night with either side unwilling to give ground, and no more talks are scheduled. Mayor Street is unwilling to get involved, believing that when the time is right he will think about entering this discussion.

Septa has proposed a 9% pay increase over 3 years and have the members pay 5% of their Health Insurance Premiums, coming down from their 20% earlier amount for premiums, while the Union says that they already pay for health care and are not going to negotiate that point.
