Happy Halloween!

Trick or treat!
Smell our feet!
We’re pompus SEPTA drivers who make more money than you and can do whatever the hell we want including watching rapes happen on our buses! WE don’t even have to keep a fucking rhyme scheme while we tell you the bad news about our pouty little decision to fuck the region over!

Hope you already have your candy, folks, because so far, the trick’s on us.

My ass doesn’t hurt; but then again I own a car and don’t rely on public transportation to get to work. I feel your pain and the pain of all those that are screwed by this, well OK not really, but I do understand it. But I don’t hold the bitterness toward the SEPTA employees that you seem too. They have every right to get what they deem they are worth, even if you and a host of others feel they aren’t worth it. These employees of SEPTA have families to take care of just ike everyone else. I wouldn’t hold it against you if you decided to better yourself even if it was at the detriment of the people at large. These aren’t public servants, they are bus drivers and if them striking for better benefits and more money is screwing you over well then Welcome to America.

Wow, that’s a little harsh even for me (and I am someone who just looked at his $130/month healthcare witholding). Why don’t you cruise on over to my mp3 blog, http://www.exileonhicks.blogspot.com and download a few tracks from my mini SEPTA-Strike sampler.

I believe in a worker’s right to strike, but I do not believe workers should be FORCED to strike if they do not want to, no matter how much that may hurt a particular cause.

So, basically, I think some aspects of unions are a joke.
