(LGBT) inclusive legislation. The panelists will cover current LGBT issues such as a statewide non-discrimination bill, domestic partner benefits, changes to the Pennsylvania adoption law, and gay marriage. The discussion will also touch on political and social issues of the day with implications for
the LGBT community including how the current debates about intelligent design and abstinence-only education may impact LGBT civil rights.The Center for Lesbian and Gay Civil Rights and the ACLU of Pennsylvania are two of the most active and vocal proponents for LGBT civil rights in the state capitol. Representative Josephs has a strong record in support of protecting and supporting LGBT people in the state House.
