Hurricane Katrina Direct Relief Blog
Grace Davis, a blogger out of the Bay Area, along with Victoria, mother on the ground in Mississippi, have joined forces to create the Hurricane Katrina Direct Relief Blog. They are coordinating a grass roots effort to bring help to the people whose lives have been intimately affected and altered by Katrina. They are looking for some help, specifically bloggers in other time zones to take shifts covering the blog and helping coordinate the movement of supplies, people and general relief. If you think you can help, check out the site and shoot Grace an email.

It seems that recovery is going well but the issue is the whole op should have been a DoD op.

Hey Marissa! Thanks for providing a link to our modest but mighty Hurricane Katrina Direct Relief blog. It’s been a wild experience working the blog from my kitchen table while Victoria emails and calls back with her reports from driving around the shelters.
Thanks so much for getting the word out. Go Eagles!
All the best,
Grace Davis
