PW round up
I got all excited, but it turns out there is no Liz Spikol this week. (I even emailed Tim, the editor, to ask where she went, almost hoping to hear she retired. No luck. And I’m not that mean, thank you.)
But no Liz this week; vacation or somesuch.
Soloman Jones: Sure, he’s amusing. But a Q&A? When the Ed’s Note was also a Q&A? Someone’s next book better kick ass…
Editor’s Note: Also a Q&A? What gives? Two Q&As within 10 pages.
Heros & Goats: OK. I get it. It was a slow week. So how come everyone else came up with good stuff to toss out?
Kia Gregory lets her sassy side out, to great effect. She should share her tough-love advice to Cory Kemp more often. I think that’s pretty much the highlight of the Philadelphia Weekly this week (which is actually a little sad).
Also. Here’s a question. Pick up your copy of PW. Open it to page 16. What is that in the lower right corner? Last week, it was Robbie Novak. In June, it was Rick Santorum. Is that a PW thing or an ad? Someone let me know…
