Harry and the Potters

Josh from Seattle gave me an awesome head’s up today. (WHEEEEEEEE!)

Turns out Harry and the Potters is playing a free show at the Free Library of Philadelphia tomorrow. I am suddenly all kinds of interested in this show because…well, how can I not be interested in this:

“The idea is that the Harry Potter from Year 7 and the Harry Potter from Year 4 started a rock band. And now, no one can stop the wizard rock.”

Also, This American Life (a really hot public radio show) recently did a show about bands doing library tours…and I have to admit I started fangirling a little bit. Library tours! Bands! Playing libraries! That’s so…GEEKY! I suddenly love all these bands.

August 12th, Friday
Philadelphia, PA
Free Library of Philadelphia
2:30pm, free!
1901 Vine St., Philadelphia, PA
Unfortunately, the Philly Phanatic had to cancel. Drag! We’ll still rock it hard though!
